Taylor Hopkinson, the world-leading renewable recruitment specialist, has acquired new 10,812 sq ft office premises in Glasgow city centre. Global real estate firm, Avison Young, was appointed to carry out a comprehensive search of the office market on Taylor Hopkinson’s behalf and negotiated terms to secure the space.

Taylor Hopkinson has taken the third floor of 6 Atlantic Quay, a 70,000 sq ft fully refurbished office building, offering Grade A accommodation, and fantastic communal on-site amenities and facilities for tenants including town hall space, meeting pods and a coffee station.

Taylor Hopkinson will occupy 10,812 sq ft in the building on a 10-year lease with the option for a tenant-only break in year five.

The exemplary office building is located in the heart of Glasgow’s International Financial Services District, home to a number of established organisations including the Barclays Campus, JP Morgan, HMRC, BT, OVO Energy and the Scottish Government.

Avison Young initially acted on behalf of Taylor Hopkinson in 2019, acquiring their current office space, before being appointed again at the end of 2023 to identify options for the business to extend its footprint in Glasgow.

Michael Facenna, Director, Agency and Transactions at Avison Young said:
“It was a pleasure to once again work with Taylor Hopkinson to find their ideal office space in Glasgow. As a business in the renewables sector, we knew that sustainability would be top of mind. Thanks to our team’s expertise in the local office market, we’re delighted to have been able to negotiate a new space in 6 Atlantic Quay, which has been refurbished and modernised to an exceptional standard to achieve EPC A.”

Fiona McRae, Managing Director at Taylor Hopkinson said:
“As one of Europe’s clean energy hubs, Glasgow is leading the charge in the renewables sector, and we are proud that our HQ has been based here since 2009. Our valued client base and fantastic team continues to grow, so we needed an office space that provided a flexible and comfortable environment while also meeting our ESG goals. Avison Young worked with us to identify 6 Atlantic Quay and were able to negotiate us a wonderful, modern space which aligns with our sustainable vision for the future.”

Taylor Hopkinson will be moving into 6 Atlantic Quay in May 2025.

JLL acted on behalf of the Landlord, 6AQ Ltd.
