Bibby Line to relocate to Liverpool HQ
18 September 2019Avison Young's Offices team in Liverpool has been advising Bibby Line Group on the relocation of its Liverpool headquarters to Walker House, Exchange Flags, in the heart of Liverpool’s Commercial District.
The diversified family-owned business, which has been based in Liverpool for over 200 years, will occupy 20,000 square feet of modern, high-quality accommodation across two floors at Walker House, next to Liverpool Town Hall.
Around 150 employees from the Group and its subsidiary businesses will relocate from 105 and 91 Duke Street to refurbished suites on the third and fourth floors of the building, by the end of this year.
Ian Steele in our Offices team comments; “The deal represents one of the largest transactions in Liverpool’s Commercial District to date this year and will provide the Bibby Line Group with a much more modern, efficient and sustainable working environment in one of Liverpool’s most famous and iconic buildings, joining other high profile occupiers such as International law firm DLA Piper and Brabners”.
John Cresswell, CEO of Bibby Line Group, said; “Exchange Flags is a stunning building and represents an exciting opportunity to consolidate our long history in Liverpool city centre while providing the Group with modern premises, better equipped for the needs of current and future colleagues and customers.
“Relocating to Exchange Flags brings us closer to the centre of the business community and provides our fantastic team with the best possible working environment and amenities, as we continue to invest for the future”.
