Avison Young acts exclusively for Aldi in respect of all planning consultancy matters across Scotland.
Services provided are principally associated with the promotion of new stores across the country and the construction of extensions to existing stores. To date, Avison Young has secured planning permission for in excess of 50 new stores and 20 extensions for Aldi, helping the business to significantly expand across the country and meet their growth objectives.
Avison Young’s role extends to developing the planning strategy for each site and managing a multi-disciplinary team, working collaboratively to support planning applications. These are also typically supported by retail assessments, produced by Avison Young, covering quantitative and qualitative deficiency matters, retail impact, sequential test, accessibility and sustainability matters.
