Acting on behalf of the English Cities Fund (a joint venture between Homes England, Legal & General and Muse Developments), Avison Young coordinated the preparation and submission of an application for full planning permission in October 2020 for the development of a new c.16,000m2 / 173,000ft2 12-storey office building on Plot A3 of the New Bailey district in Salford. Approval was granted in February 2021 for the development, which has been designed to achieve a BREEAM ‘excellent’ rating and incorporates a distinctive planted façade.
