A detailed planning application was submitted in February 2021 proposing the demolition of the existing 29 residential properties and existing Collyhurst Village Store and erection of a residential led development comprising 244 units in the form of houses and apartments as well as the creation of a new three-acre park and 2,000 sqft of flexible commercial space. The development comprises the first phase of the Northern Gateway masterplan.
