Avison Young have provided a wide range of planning and property consultancy services to Plymouth City Council over the past decade. This has included the completion of the Plymouth City Centre Development Framework (jointly with NEW Masterplanning) in 2014/2015 which examined the future health and heritage of the city centre, which was followed by the preparation of a masterplan for the city centre (jointly with LDA Design) in 2017.
Over this period Avison Young has also provided planning advice to the City Council on a range of retail and leisure proposals across the city and also the preparation of a retail and town centres study to support the recently adopted Plymouth & South West Devon Local Plan (including provision of expert witness evidence at an Examination in Public in 2018).
