• Client: The Wave

Avison Young secured full planning permission for a new inland surf lake, the first of its kind in the world using “the Cove” technology on green field land in the green belt to the north-west of Bristol. The Wave facility also includes “glamping” tents, an education centre, a café, a surf shop, equipment hire, changing facilities and amenity space for fitness training. We have also submitted an application for a solar farm to power the whole facility.
