Chris is a Principal at Avison Young with more than 24 years of real estate experience. He is a national tenant representation advisor who has expertise in negotiating transactions for notable private sector clients including lease renewals, restructures and relocations.  Chris is well-versed in advising on building purchases, strategic planning for large consolidations, and dispositions.

Chris has recently serviced clients including Oracle, CIBC, NORC at the University of Chicago, ABC Supply, BDO, Northwestern Mutual and Loop Capital.   In addition to being the main point of contact for the Illinois Secretary of State’s office and their portfolio of over 130 locations, Chris has also represented select agencies such as The County of Cook, Metra, Housing Authority of Cook County and Illinois Housing Development Authority.

Chris has been consistently one of the top producers at Avison Young globally. Most recently he was a finalists for 2023 Broker of the Year, Tenant Representation at the Greater Chicago Food Depository and recipient of the 2023 and 2024 ConnectCRE’s Top Broker Award.

Chris has an extensive history in Chicago real estate as a top producer at firms such as Cushman & Wakefield, Grubb & Ellis, and Equis Corporation. Chris’ entire professional career has been serving solely the needs of real estate occupiers.

Chris is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Illinois and resides in Elmhurst with his wife and four children.
