George House is located on the north side of George Square, between North Frederick Street and North Hanover Street, at the very heart of Glasgow's City Centre. As the main focal point of the city, George Square is the location for numerous high-profile companies and is home to The City Chambers, the headquarters of Glasgow City Council. The University of Strathclyde lies close by as does the Gallery of Modern Art. Glasgow Queen Street Train Station is directly opposite the building, less than a minute's walk.
